Over the years, Bob, alongside his wife April, expanded the farm’s operations to include both Jersey and Holstein cattle, adapting to market demands and enhancing the farm’s reputation in the dairy industry.
The farm is a family-run operation, with Bob and April’s children actively involved. Their son, Bobby Jarrell, joined the farm after graduating from the University of Guelph in 2005 and, along with his wife Jennifer, has played a significant role in the farm’s development.
Their daughter, Jackie Jarrell, was also raised on the farm and has been involved in various capacities.

Position Overview
RJ Farms is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Dairy Herd Worker to join our hardworking team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our dairy farm, focusing on the well-being of our herd and maintaining our farm’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Dairy Herd Worker, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Milking Duties
- Efficiently and carefully milk cows according to established procedures to ensure animal health and quality milk production.
- Feeding Responsibilities
- Provide proper nutrition to the dairy herd by following feeding schedules and procedures.
- General Labor
